Aaron Barret

Who has been known to go through six guitars and twenty women in one week, has most recently been linked romantically with supermodel Catarina Sogoiva and Japanese pop icon Chizuru. In an effort to continually improve his guitar techniques Aaron has sought the training and guidance of his idol and mentor CC Deville (a legend in his own time and guitarist from 80's hair band Poison). He has a rare species of caterpillar that he keeps under his chin when he plays live

Aaron is the founding member of Reel Big Fish. He went to Los Alamitos High School (class of 1992). Also played trombone in bands such as the Goodwin Club (for about 4 or 5 shows) and the Scholars. He also tried out for a spot in Suburban Rhythm when their first guitar player left, but was turned down in favor of Scott of "why did Ed and Scott quit" fame. Favorite band is Kara's Flowers. The song "She Has a Girlfriend Now" is based on a high school girlfriend of his. Aaron is pretty straight edge: doesn't drink, do drugs, or smoke. He doesn't even drink anything caffeinated (he said, "but I'm not Mormon"). Favorite song on WDTRSH is "The Secret Track."
