Tavis Werts

Went to Long Beach Poly HS with Dan (both were class of 1995). Also plays the flugal horn in WDTRSO, while his brother Brandon played percussion on two songs. Tavis is the other band member to attempt college - he said he went for a semester and a half. Is into bands such as the Beastie Boys, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and Rocket From the Crypt. Has a tattoo on his upper right arm of a trumpet. Loves classic cars, and owns a very rad '64 Falcon (an amazing car, my friends).

Tavis' early years were something most kids only dream about. He was discovered as a prodigy recorder player and made his debut at Carnegie Hall at the ripe old age of six. Leaving his audience speechless with his 38 variations on "Mary Had A Little Lamb".  At ten however, Tavis decided to switch instruments, apparently all the cutest girls in his class were into trumpeteers at the time. The rest as we say, is history.
One last note on our bespeckled fish...Tavis has been a die hard Quik-aholic for some time now, and has been collecting Quik bunny memorabilia since his recorder days. If anyone out there has any odd Quik bunnies laying around, Tavis is your man to unload them upon! He'd like to show his collection on the FX channel before he's 30.
